As mentioned in this post, parents’ greatest fear is that their kids will become addicted to drugs and alcohol.

This fear vastly outweighs concerns about terrorism, economic collapse, crime, and war. The good news is that there's a lot parents can do to lower risks that their child will become addicted. But when talking to kids about substance abuse and addiction, many parents wonder if they should play the role of friend or parent.
